The third Aska collection is going back many years, all garments and prints are inspired by old English navy. Released in summer 2012 all designed, produced and printed in East London.

The year is 1934, just before WWII and the H.M.S Berwick is preparing for a 3 year long adventure, equipped with machine guns, torpedoes and the beautiful sea plane the Fairey IIIF. On November 24, they cast off at the English naval base in the West Country, HMNB Devonport, the home of the Royal Navy.

Aska Clothing is releasing its third collection, Birds of Berwick, which draws inspiration from the sea planes of the magnificent heavy cruiser H.M.S Berwick. The collection itself is influenced by the precise craftsmanship of the glorious uniforms and the beauty of timeless military emblems.

The Collection is a tribute to the old English Navy and comes as a result after almost a year of researching, designing and producing. Aska are very proud to present this collection as they are all designed, produced and printed in East London. The collection holds four different designs, all with a recognisable shoulder board used to describe the range of duty. The emblem located on the left side of the chest is inspired by the different squadron of military service.
